TRADOC Analysis Center Help Desk

BMA is looking for an experienced computer technician to augment its current effort in support of the TRADOC Analysis Center (TRAC). Candidate will have responsibility for technical support to all IT platforms and peripheral devices, to include up to 620 personal computers, 100 virtual machines,, and 75 network printers across five networks. Candidate will support the IAVA effort, system backups, and equipment life cycle management as required. Candidate will build, rebuild, and image systems as required. Candidate will provide support within the TRAC Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) system and ManageEngine.

Required/Desired Skills include:

Key Skills

-Three years’ experience in installation and initial set up of personal computers

-Two years’ experience troubleshooting and repairing personal computers and peripherals

-Respond to staff help tickets within ITSM and ManageEngine

 

Active Secret Security Clearance required

Vocational School certification or Associate's degree in computer network installation and repair, and at least 3 years of experience in the installation and initial setup of personal computers which include at least 2 years’ experience trouble-shooting and repairing personal computers

DOD IAT II Certification in Security+, GSEC, SCNP, SSCP, or additional certifications at appropriate level as deemed in DoD 8570-01M

Computing Environment Certification in Linux+, MCSA (2003) (L), MCITP: Enterprise Desktop Sup-port Technician 7, MCITP: Enterprise Desktop Administrator 7, CCNA, or related certification as designated in DoD 8570-01M
